As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with people to bring mindful awareness to their experience, allowing them to  make different choices, versus being stuck in unconscious repetitive emotional, mental and physical patterns that cause dis-ease.

I've been a mindfulness practitioner for many years.  I became deeply interested in mindfulness meditation when a major life event brought me face to face with myself and the preciousness and fragility of life.  Up until that time, I assumed my life was successful.  I had worked in the business world for many years and was married and had two bright and healthy daughters.  This event prompted a deep inquiry and exploration into my internal world leading me to the study of Spiritual Psychology and other spiritual traditions.  I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology in 2009, from University of Santa Monica, California and began working at the Redondo Beach Wellness Community. There I worked with people diagnosed with cancer.  I went on to work at Family Service of Long Beach for three years and developed my expertise in self esteem issues, developmental trauma, anxiety and depression.  I have integrated my therapeutic skills by drawing on mindfulness practice and evidence based mindfulness therapies, somatic therapy and psychodynamic theory to support my clients in their healing process.   I currently work in my own private practice in Redondo Beach, California.
